Fried Chicken Review - WINGSTOP and Chik'n

When does a hobbie become an addiction? How many times, is too many?

For someone who has had 10 burgers in 10 hours, I think there is no real answer to the above questions and that there are no rules (for the most part) around what someone should eat.

This week, I have seem to be the biggest fan of fried chicken.
I am a fan, but I think we all know other people who LOVE it a lot more than I do. The fan in me, however, was desperate to try two New (ish) places in London.
One, was a restaurant I had never been to before (Wing Stop) and the other (Chik'n) was a new branch in Soho.

"Flavour is our Everything" that is the line from WINGSTOP. As you can see, they have plenty of options when it comes to the flavour department.

Wings, you guessed right. That is what we had, alongside some tenders (basically bigger and longer strips of chicken nuggets).

For the wings we went with the Garlic Parmesan flavour. As first timers, we thought we would take it easy and have a smooth intro to WINGSTOP.
I can confidently say that this wasn't a subtle intro, but instead a SMACK of garlic right in the mouth.
WHOOSH!

Great flavour (that's what they promised), but also great crisp and crunch to the wings. A real nice bit, but with tender chicken coming right off the bone. At £7.50 for 8 pieces, this represents good value and food in London. WINGSTOP I will be back.

Chik'n has been on the scene for a while. From the same crew that gave us Chick N Sours, Chik'n is their take on fast food Five Guys style. Insta followers will have seen that I have been before, but they have now taken over the old BRGR site on Wardour Street and thankfully is closer to my work.

The food here is always good, from their signature and special burgers, to the wings and tenders. This time I even tried their special fries, which were fully loaded. COnsidering I had a burger and tenders, meant it may have been a bit too much for my little belly.

Chicken is not a new trend, but the improving quality (albeit at higher prices) are giving Londoners better food to eat and definitely a lot more pictures to be taken. The Chicken Shop scene is well and truly alive.

Wow, I will love adding these recipes to my dinner menu. I am inspired by you for having a gorgeous choice for food. I think many children don't want to eat the same recipe again and again, this will create a change in the menu. Keep it up with the good work for helping parents.
