Will the burger craze die out this year- no chance. Burgers are just too good and make so much sense when looking for a good meal. Hungover- have a burger Quick lunch - have a burger Tasty food - have a burger Healthy- have a burger? Thanks to my colleague Polly for letting me know about Yeah! burger. Once I found out about this "new" burger I couldn't stop thinking about it. The plan was to go next week but I couldn't wait. Yeah! Burger is the project by former burger professional who looked after one of my favourites, Lucky Chip. He has now set up a residency in Kings Cross, London. Off I went. Another year and another burger. Unfortunately the cheese burger did just feel and taste like another burger. It was tasty, the party was juicy and the brioche bun shone with its glaze- but it was just okay. The super excited rush wasn't met with disappointment but the wow factor wasn't there. The burger was good but the fries and wings let me down. The fries were very McDonald-esque which was a shame, especially at £3. I went for the Buff wigs which were styled on buffalo wings (get it?). These two were quite disappointing as they were not that tasty and not that meaty either. Again, nothing stood out and left me wanting more. Not a top five or even top ten for me but a good burger. Make sure you pop down to their launch event on Friday this week. 500 free beers and 200 sliders too. Do IT!
