What have I got myself in for? I have decided to try out the Insanity Workout DVD as after watching one infomercial I was sold and hooked. Some way and somehow I have got my hands of the dvd pack and I am now onto day three of the 60 day workout tonight.
I really should post a before and after pic but as of today I am too shy and embarrassed to put my slim Iranian body online. From the front page you can see my build (GIANT amongst mountains) but my main aim is to tone and get some definition on my body. I put it off for a week and now have finally started. The initial aim was to wake up every morning and do the work out for 35mins to 55mins, but has not happened as I just can't wake up. SO having started on Monday in the evenings straight after work I can say one thing, it is TOUGH. I have struggled nicely and from the first few days I think I will continue to do so. This is what was sold to me so I shouldn't be surprised but it is very demanding physically and mentally you have to be strong. At times I feel everything tighten up and I end up doing the most feeble attempt at exercise ever but I still keep on going. I could go over the plans for each day but this guy does a great job so check his site out: http://www.sharpefit.com/insanity-fit-test-review/. This test I am doing is based on the fact that I will not be following any rigorous diet or take any special supplements, so let's see what happens when the average man attempts this insane workout. The workouts are intense and done in sets of three but after each set you have to up the level and go faster and harder (that's what she said) than before. No weights are used and it is pure cardio but I feel that this will be very useful. I have been doing the workout with my twin brother and we have been sweating loads. It is funny watching us both struggle and also seeing our girlfriends walk in and wondering 'why am I with him?'. As well as this, is our neighbour who is shocked by all the noise from are PowerJumps that she thought the roofers came round and when i let her know we were 'working out' she laughed. I will try to keep you updated with progress and if I get the confidence I will put up some pictures. Wish me luck.

![]() What shall I do this year to raise some money? Last year I played football for an hour in fancy dress. Comic Relief had become Sport Relief and with my love of Football I decided to play for an hour. Thank you last year for all who supported us and all who came along too; we raised over £1,000. Basically, what shall i do this year then? Please send over any suggestions or advice and let me know if you would like to get involved. It has to be done before March 15th 2013. So get in touch soon. ![]() Glorious Failure. This is one way to describe Liverpool last night after a dramatic match which involved Liverpool losing on the away goals rule to Zenit St Petersburg. The match was a great one and typical for Liverpool this season; more mistakes defensively have left us with too much catching up in games and the season overall. Unfortunately the victory masks the fact that we are out of all cup competitions before the end of March. Lost at home to Swansea in the League Cup, Lost away to Oldham in the FA Cup and now out at the last 32 in the Europa Cup. That is a very poor return and although I see progress being made at the club the stats tell a different story. Even in the league we are at exactly the same points total as last year after 27 games. I hope we don’t finish of the rest of the season the same way as 12 months ago. To be honest we are in a bad state at the moment and my usual joke of ‘next season’ is becoming depressing and unfunny as I know ‘next season’ will probably not bring much either. In spite of all this talk of gloom I am a forever optimist and I believe that we will win the title next season. Those last two sentences sum up a Liverpool fan perfectly. YOU CAN DO ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT! My predictions for Liverpool the rest of the season is for good things and good times. I believe Sturridge and Suarez will help us up the league to the dizzying heights of 6thand that may be enough for a Europa League spot. This should therefore encourage some better players to sign for us in the summer and then who know what is possible nest season. I think Man United will win the league ahead of Man City by about 5 points with Chelsea and Tottenham completing the top four. Gunners, well, enjoy Thursday night football it is awesome. To help me get over my misery and Liverpool losing- JUMP-OFF An hour and a half of football.
Over 50 goals. My words dont do it juctice so check it out over here http://yeah-boyce.weebly.com/my-footy.html Don't do it.
Thanks to the advice of friends on Saturday night, i didn't. But i was sure as hell drunk and adamant that I was sober enough and of good health to drive from Highgate home. After about 10 minutes of arguing and debating a lost cause I got a cab home with my girlfriend. The journey home was fun with arguing and shouting leading to hugging and an apology from me. Drunk people sure are stubborn! This week has been a good food week as you probably would have guessed from my Food Page, with trips to Mumbai Junction for a monthly curry, Morito, for a surprise Valentines dinner and on Sunday night Hawksmoor, for some lovely £70 steak. £70!!!!!! Basically I am now broke so I will be spending my time this week doing nowt. The steak last night was good but it was slightly overhyped by my colleagues. I would definitely recommend it but £70 for a steak is a bit much and there are other places I would recommend before Hawksmoor (Buen Ayre and Smithfield Bar & Grill). So the weekend started very relaxed with a night in watching the film ‘Artist’ on Friday night. This silent movie was really good and less than two hours so it meant an early night which was great. Saturday was my first viewing for a place. I have spoken about this too much and not actually seen anywhere so itwas a good way to finally stop talking and start doing something. The rest ofSaturday involved drinking. It was three friends birthdays in the evening and they involved Beer, JD and coke, Amaretto, tequila and some more beer which all together made me feel like a young Michael Schumacher (not really). Drinks inLondon are so expensive and we are powerless to stop spending. My main problemis that I buy rounds, which is a typical guy thing to do. We are out with friends so we like to treat each other and be seen as someone that can provide booze and usually we hope to get rewarded with a drink back. After waking up at midday Sunday, the six hour sleep was not enough I lazed about on Sunday and watched football. Liverpool won which was great after a few bad results and Sturridge scored again. What an impact he has had, the game against Wet Brom where he was injured showed that we now do need him in our starting 11! Now, early Monday morning and I already have a viewing in place for tomorrow night so no more ALL TALK. Time for action and hopefully getting the roof fixed too. JUMP-OFF |
