Reliable and Safe. Trusted and understated. Very well worth it. You see what i did there. RSTUVW
I know my alphabet and I like to be creative with my blog pieces.
So this is a review on Cote Restaurants and these are popping up in lots of locations and therefore I hope that this review will be useful if you have yet to go.
I have been previously and was pleased and satisfied to go again when asked by my brothers to recommend some place locally. We did not want to spend too much but we wanted to be happy.
Starter, Mains and Dessert. The good thing about Cote is that they provided many options for all three courses and there is bound to be something that you will like.
We three between us ordered Chicken Liver Pate, Mussels and Calamari. All were tasty and satisfied our needs and urges and the variety of all three were delightful as we shared and had tastes of each.
The main courses, two of us went for the minute steak which came with fries and a salad and the other went for the burger.
A minute steak in its essence is a thin cut of beef which can be prepared very quickly. Cooking times are probably a minute each side (BOOM). Garlic butter on top helped bring extra flavour which is needed for a steak like this as it is so thin, it usually comes medium at its best however you make it.
My brother who went for the burger was not overly impressed and probably looking back would have preferred to have the steak. The bacon and cheese combo overloaded the whole burger and when these elements are not any good can make a burger into an unpleasant experience.
Overall, i was satisfied with my meal. I knew what i was getting myself in for and the bar was set at a medium level. £35 each including a drink is not too expensive but not that cheap, based on the quality.
The staff were attentive and on hand at all times, but it was very strange that the waiter called us 'boy' and 'boys' constantly. I do not mind a relaxed attitude but being called 'boy' was not something I am a fan of. "You get me?"
