Last weekend after some planning I finally played golf for the first time in well over a year. It was good to be back and my game has improved 0 fold. My first shot was shocking, shanked to the right and I thought straight away; this is gonna be a looooonnnggg day.
The improvements didn't come and I ended the day 31 over par. Awesome. To be fair if I had got 20 over par I would have been happy. Golf is a great way to have fun, socialise and also play some serious sport. Four of us went and Atul dominated, but that is because he practiced the week before. Sherwin and I got the same score because we are equally rubbish. And Dan, he is great and funny at the same time. His drive from the tee is incredible, so much power. Two words. JUMP-OFF. That is how we do golf. The professionals play a bit differently and dress differently too. Note to all, Nike Air forces are not recommended on a golf course. Other than that we had no 14 year olds playing with us nor any cheating tigers, other than thatbitbwas exactly the same. An Aussie finally won a major but the belly putter looks silly. I say the authorities need to get rid of these as it makes the golfers look silly. That is the only reason why they should go. So spring is here and with it we have sunshine and showers. I think it is better than the cold we have had and thankfully our roof and ceiling are now fine. Bring on summer and with it short shorts. See you soon.
