Yesterday was a strange day. I woke up and my girlfriend was unwell, chesty cough and feeling weak. I arrived at work and all around people were the same. Once there is a change in weather people suffer. The weather in London isn't extreme it's just consistently boring and grim,; we should feel slightly lucky especially after what has happened in America. Our thoughts go out to all in Oklahoma and to our friends in London too. Last night ended with my brothers and I going to see ASAP Rocky, if you don't know him he is an American rapper and there is a brief video of him performing below. The concert had a good vibe considering that half the crowd looked like they had just finished their GCSE exams. I'm starting to realise that I'm getting old and maybe I should stick to listening to CDs and Cassettes on my Walkman. ASAP Rocky showed great appreciation to the crowd throughout the concert and reiterated a good point, in that he wasn't there to perform, he was there to party. The kid in me was happy he said that- as it meant he was there to have a good time which should lead to the fans (me) to have a good time too. On the other hand, some people can misconstrue this to mean he wasn't doing his job of performing and was just looking out for himself. At one stage this seemed true when he called out eight "hot girls with big booties" to come to the stage. However, the laughter and fun continued when after two minutes of the girls dancing he told them to get off as they were rubbish, much to the amusement of the majority of the crowd. One quick question: why are Londoners and fans at concerts in London so quick to criticise and Boo? This is a real negative point and is quite embarrassing for me. These acts come to perform (or Party) with us from all across the world and just because you are impatient or not satisfied after two minutes you Boo. Imagine someone did that to you whilst you were working. Not cool- so don't do it. I love London but some of the Londoners are really awful and are simply morons. A strange day ended yesterday and once again my thoughts go out to all my friends. Enjoy life with your friends and family. Forget any grudges, make the extra effort because you never know how long you have with each other. PEACE.
