• LOVE FOOD, LIVE FOODIE •
![]() This place is an example of great local food, which is generous in its portions and reasonably priced too. I have been going to the restaurant and getting takeaway from here for many years and thankfully throughout this time the prices have stayed the same as has the quality. Situated on Muswell Hill Broadway, you enter and you see the large pizza ovens and the workers busy making pizzas for the customers. On a Friday or Saturday the place gets very busy but thankfully on this chilly Wednesday night, I was able to choose my table and just relax. When it comes to food and places I like I stick to what I know and as always I went for the garlic pizza bread and the Calzone. The garlic pizza bread is a real treat, simple but packed full of flavour with tomato sauce, oregano and garlic on top of a thin pizza base. Light, crispy and soft and is excellent alongside a pizza or as a starter. The Calzone, as my main course was really good. Packed full of ham, salami, mozzarella and mushrooms. these lovely toppings in the folded pizza topped with rich tomato sauce that was on the garlic bread always leave me absolutely stuffed and happy. The portion size is quite incredible and I was struggling with only 2/3 completed. the best thing from this is that I was able to have it again the next day. The gift that keeps on giving. A meal for two with drinks and deserts; all under £40 and with bellies reaching out a foot in front of is a must for all.
