• LOVE FOOD, LIVE FOODIE •
I bumped into a friend a while ago and she mentioned that Thursdays were a bad day for the train and tube. Since that day, I've made sure i have avoided her and also i have noticed that she was right. I don't like to moan about overcrowding because it is not all that bad and there are other more serious problems in life. But this morning was another special day for TFL and unfortunately this is becoming all too frequent. What surprises me is the amount of people stuck on the train, on their way to work at nine in the morning. This rat race is hard work, 1000s of people in a mission to get to work, with no added help from our transport system. What really pushed me over the edge was the queue to leave the station at Holborn this morning. There is one thing waiting an age to get on a train, but waiting ages to then leave is something more special altogether. What can we do about it? Really there isn't too much we can do. Wake up earlier, cycle to work, move house, sleep at work. All these options are not what i want and not what i should have to resort to. I just want to scream and shout and let it all out. That is my morning rant. It could be worse, we could be in Japan as below!
