• LOVE FOOD, LIVE FOODIE •
My new local pizza place and I heard a lot, so on my first night at my new home I went straight away with my fiancé and friends, Atul and Dan. Two is perfect, three's a crowd and four is a great way to start a new life.
After a bit of heavy lifting and fly tipping ( shhhhhh) we had a drink and off for dinner. Onto the food. Based On Dan's recommendations we ordered the mozzarella balls which were deep fried and covered in tomato sauce. This was nice and light and the cheese was very gooey. The tomato sauce added an extra kick as there was a slighty spicy taste to it. Good start, thank you Dan. For the main, I went for my tried and tested Calzone, as I wanted to compare it to the calzone at La Porchetta. The filling here was salami, ham, mozzarella and black olives. The pizza was tasty and very filling but didn't have the richness and depth that I'm used to at La Porchetta. However, after the calzone I didn't feel to stuffed and I know that I will definitely be back again and again. Thank you Pappagone for a lovely dinner and see you soon. Forget the words above and look at the pretty pictures!
