Pitt Cue- wow OMG Hype Hype

Best BBQ joint in London for me. Tender, smokey, juicy meat. That is all that one should ask for. The pretenders in London are good and there are more for me to try but as it stands Pitt Cue is amazing.

My pictures have improved recently but they could never do the food here justice. From start to finish we were treated to great food. Decadent, rich, smokey and just right. Pitt Cue make sure the focus is on the food and they know what the people want; more importantly what I wanted. From the off the waitress set us on our way and we were happy to just order a main, which comes with a side. However, she recommended we order some starters too and so we listened.

The bacon was incredible. The grilled sourdough and dripping was sumptuous and the crumbed featherblade (shoulder) great. My brother liked the scratching so much he ordered two, one as a starter and one with the mains. Back to the bacon- melt in your mouth. Once again - wow OMG hype hype.

Bone Marrow Mash
The main courses matched the starters too. I was very happy with my choice of smoked beef neck. The other guys all ordered pulled pork but I had to be different. I think I made a great choice. The smoked beef neck was Devine and delicate. It is starting to sound a bit romantic. The beef was accompanied by the bone marrow mash. This met the standard of the rest of the night and the amazing food. The mash was creamy and smooth and having a bite was easy and so moorish. The bone marrow and gravy flowed throughout and the mash absorbed the extra sauce.
I have good friends and so they let me have a bite of their pulled pork and chilli green slaw too. These two were good, the pulled pork was also very tender and the Pittcue crew were very generous with their portion sizes. The scratching that we had with the mains too were good too. I never count calories but this felt a bit indulgent. A special night i guess.

A great night with great food. We treated ourselves to great cocktails after at Punchroom at London Edition - you have to go. Oh what a night.
