Absolutely no excuses, I know it was my birthday and I should have said something but nothing came to mind. This blog post is a summary of the last two weeks and a lot has happened, but nothing really interesting, that is just my life.
Soo... I will not bore you with too many details but in the last two weeks I have felt like a tourist in London. One of the greatest cities in the world to wonder round and you can see most of it just by walking around. It was this interview with Eric Bana of all people who made me realise how cool London is and if we had more sun it would definitely be up there as one of the greatest cities in the world. Over the last 10 days I have I spent three days at the top of the Heron Tower on Liverpool Street at Sushi Samba (drinks only) and Duck & Waffle for dinner. I was also spoilt by my girlfriend to a trip at the ME Hotel on Aldwych. Great views and with moments of some sunshine it was a lovely time to go sightseeing. All in all, I walked from St Pauls down tom the Southbank, towards Liverpool Street and through to Shoreditch and Brick Lane. A lot of mileage but a lot to do. A Pub Crawl had started the bank holiday fun and onto last weekend ended with another crawl of sorts too. London has a lot to offer so anyone reading this from abroad do check it all out; also Londoners who live here, there is so much more to see, football season is over so a greta chance to see it all. A case in point for me was the Monument in Monument. £3 to walk many many steps and great views of London and the city. My only annoying point from this trip was that some tourists are rude and have no manners. My friend and I let numerous people pass us on the narrow staircase and we didn't receive one thank you; I wasn't looking for some gratitude but it would be nice. As the weather is getting better, now is a great time to explore the city, beer gardens and just have more fun. Enjoy the summer and speak to you soon. JUMP-OFF
