Street N4 Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

Out of nowhere I not only heard about a burger place but I saw it getting ready for it. Street Burger had just popped up and opened right near where I live. It was now officially open and I had to go.

Once inside everyone seemed excited and eager which was good. The vibe was relaxed to a point but the anticipation from everyone, especially my belly and taste buds was making the whole occasion a bit nervy for me.

The menu looked good and the staff were all very helpful and informative. I do find it strange however that the biggest section of the menu was the beers. I do like my beer, but I do like burgers too. I just feel like the burger should be the focus, especially based on the name STREET BURGER.

The waitress had earlier recommended having the chicken burger and thankfully Laura ordered it. I went for a cheeseburger as it seems like the best way to test a new place. I am not a professional food critique so 'test' is not the best word, so the cheeseburger was for comparison purposes and I WANTED IT.

The food came out and you can see that it was plentiful and looking great. I will tell you now that the food was of good quality and had me filled up but something was missing. The flavours and seasoning just weren't there. The fresh tomatoes also seemed to overpower the patty almost like a Burger King Whopper. The cheese, the patty and bun were okay but nothing really stood out for me and at £8 just seemed a bit much. I know it is the going rate nowadays but with so much competition in London, I feel Street Burger needs to do a bit more. The chicken burger, fries and onion rings were all very much the same. One thing that stood out was the size of the chicken and that was a definite plus point.

I think that Street Burger will get a lot better and I hope it does. It is local and on my way home so could see a lot of my money. With the changes happening in the area, a good burger joint is just what Finsbury Park needs. Let's hope they can do it.
