• LOVE FOOD, LIVE FOODIE •
![]() Another Year I did not go. But SHERWIN did- Hooray for him. Here are his thoughts on a foodie day for Londoners. Taste! Taste what? Taste Who? Taste of London is what I am talking about. Held at Regents Park, this is a great chance to try food from small local producers to world famous Michelin star chefs. I have been for four years in a row now and love to try most of what is on offer. I was going to type ‘everything on offer’ but even my belly cannot handle that. Once in (although the event is outdoors) you do not know where to go or start. Lesson for next time, have a plan of who you want to see and what food to try as you make come up short and missing out on certain foods because you are already full. My friend and I just went with the flow and where our bellies, led by our noses took us. You will see by the pictures what we saw and some of what we ate. I get distracted when it comes to taking a picture of the food. Immediately my desires take over and only after do I remember I was supposed to take a picture. The soft shell crab taco was a delight and just watching Dan devour his buttermilk chicken was a tremendous sight! Favourites such as Meat Liqour, Sushi Samba and Roka were all in attendance and to see what they had on offer, without actually trying the food was just as satisfying. Throw in the freebies of popcorn, chocolate, cheese, bread, sauces and accompany that with alcohol…WHAT A DAY!
