Insanity is finally over. The last week when I was supposed to be really insane didn't really materialise. I did three days out of six and I had many excuses.
As you can see from the picture on the right this is how it all started. So 10 weeks ago I decided to change my life, I decided I wasn't happy, I decided to go INSANE with INSANITY. My nose is still huge no change there.
The Insanity workout is all about cardio conditioning and making your body go through hard work and sweat to get the chiselled and defined look of a super model. That was the hope and the plan. Four weeks of intense workouts followed by a 'recovery week' then four more weeks of intense s$%t. The warm up gets you sweating, the stretches try to get you ready and loose for the real test. All in all it is an hour of heavy breathing and counting down until it is over.
My overall feeling is that Insanity is really good, but you need to eat properly, follow the plan daily and don't take any shortcuts. You learn that you can push your body but also to know your limits. Technique is all important. Alcohol consumption needs to be reduced but in spite of all that- look at the results. I think you can see I have done very well. I DID IT! thanks Shaun T.
